Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellierpartypoker finally joins the European online poker pool liquidity party this week and merges its French and Spanish markets. Joining the fun on the partypoker platform is poker pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier.

Almost five months after PokerStars became the first operator to take advantage of the European liquidity agreement and open the borders separating its French and Spanish poker players, partypoker now joins the fray and announces the launch of the partypoker.eu platform.

The new .eu platform will let French and Spanish players play together in a variety of poker games and will open up exciting new opportunities to both markets.

The French will see their current multi-table tournament (MTT) schedule doubled, the Spanish players will be able to play MTT again for the first time in quite a while. MTTs were pulled out from partypoker’s Spanish platform.

While the new .eu platform is up for those who want to experience the brand new partypoker shared liquidity offering, the Spanish partypoker.es and French partypoker.fr are still up and running. In fact, partypoker even upgraded the websites before the .eu launch and will be rolling out more improvements and updates to both websites in the upcoming months.

Headlining partypoker’s new European endeavor is ElkY, a French pro known for transitioning from the eSports arena to the live and online poker platform. Earlier this year, ElkY announced his decision to leave Team PokerStars Pro and teased that he is working on a new project that’s going to be announced soon. As it turns out, this new project is for PokerStars’ competitor partypoker.

partyPoker And ElkY Partner

ElkY announced his new partnership with partpoker on his Twitter page in April and partypoker is running a special Knockout ElkY promotion at the partypoker .es and .fr platforms.

The Knockout ElkY gives players the opportunity to try and eliminate ElkY from the €20,000 GTD Main Event. The player who takes the last chips from ElkY will win a seat straight to the partypoker MILLIONS UK Main Event which has a buy-in of €5,300.
