The month of August is going to be even bigger for poker players in Pennsylvania as WSOP.com has announced two more major series in the state, as it hypes up the upcoming 2021 World Series of Poker live festival in Las Vegas this September.
We already know that the WSOP.com will host an exclusive online bracelet series for players in the Keystone State which will run from August 8-15.
The series features eight bracelet events, and marks the first time that PA players are given the opportunity to compete for poker’s most coveted trophy without leaving their homes.
Now, local players are in for more online action this month as the online poker operator will also host the Progressive Knockout Tournament Series (August 17-29) and the Keystone Classic series (August 22-31).
The site has yet to release the full details of the upcoming festivals, but it’s already been announced that the Keystone Classic will feature more than $500,000 in guaranteed prizes, with the PKO series culminating in a Championship Belt tournament.
More Promos Throughout August
In addition to a total of three major series taking place on WSOP.com PA this August, players can also look forward to more prizes up for grabs via several promotions running throughout the month.
WSOP.com launched in PA less than a month ago and celebrated that milestone with exciting promos for domestic players, including a $50,000-guaranteed Depositor’s Freeroll, and a $10K WSOP Main Event ticket giveaway. Those making a deposit from July 15 to August 15 will qualify for the freeroll which will take place on August 22.
Apart from that, WSOP.com PA is also running a DIY Bonus, with up to $2000 in bonuses to be given away from August 15 to 22. A similar promo is also running in New Jersey and Nevada.
To get involved, players simply need to opt in to the challenge and earn as many points as they can by playing cash games for a chance to receive up to $2,000 bonus.
PA players must also not forget that they may also win their way to the WSOP Main Event for as low as $215 via satellites running on WSOP.com.
WSOP.com launched in Pennsylvania on July 12 and nearly a month into their operations, it’s already making its intentions clear – it wants to become the leading online poker site in PA which houses a huge population of 12.8 million, so far the biggest US state to regulate online poker.
