PokerStars has announced the 2021 Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) which is set to run from April 4 – 28, featuring a total of 102 events with an astonishing $100 million in combined guarantees up for grabs!
As usual, all of the events are categorized into three price points, Low, Medium, and High, with entry fees ranging from as low as $2.20, all the way up to $25,000. This gives all players the chance to win big regardless of their bankroll.
This year’s SCOOP will feature a total of six Main Events, offering a combined guarantee of more than $15 million.
The Main Events will be played in both Pot Limit Omaha 6-Max and No-Limit Hold’em 8-Max. In each format, there are three buy-in levels — $109 (Low), $1,050 (Medium), and $10,300 (High). These events offer at least $350,000 in guarantees, with the highest being $5 million.
SCOOP Leaderboards
Players will be able to boost their winnings by earning a spot in the SCOOP leaderboards. There will be four of them, awarding $100,000 in extra prizes. The Low, Medium, and High categories will each crown a leaderboard winner, while the player who earns the highest points across all tournaments will be named as the overall SCOOP Player of the Series. PokerStars will also be awarding $1.6 million in extra value via multiple giveaways and satellites.
Other Promotions
PokerStars is also running many other exciting promotions, such as the SCOOP Fast Track, which gives players the chance to win their way into the $5M GTD SCOOP Main Event for just $1.
SCOOP tickets will also be given away through the SCOOP Ticket Machine starting March 28. Players may also win tickets by playing the $4 and $22 Spin & Go tournaments.
Female players may take part in an exclusive Women’s Sunday tournament on April 4 for a chance to also earn SCOOP tickets.
SCOOP On Course For Another Record-Breaking Year
PokerStars’ SCOOP is one of the most highly-anticipated online poker festivals of the year. It was launched in 2009 and has since enjoyed consistent growth. In 2020, the series reached a record-breaking $185 million in total prize pool, more than double its $85 million initial guarantee.
Throughout its 12 years of providing top online poker action to players, SCOOP has awarded more than $999,300,000 in total prize pools. This year, the series is set to achieve a new milestone as that figure is expected to cross the $ 1 billion mark during the opening weekend.
