With this year’s XL Inferno Series just around the corner, 888poker has announced a series of promotions to support the upcoming tournament.
The series kicks off on May 16, running through May 26, featuring a guaranteed prize pool of $1.4 million. Players will compete across 34 events, which include a $250 buy-in Main Event offering $500,000 in guarantees.
888poker will host daily free-entry satellites throughout the tournament which will award free seats to the $50,000 GTD XL Inferno Mini Tune Up event happening on May 19. Players can also win their way to the $500,000 GTD Main Event on May 26 by taking part in the said satellites.
The comprehensive satellite structure will ensure that more players can participate in the 11-day festival. 888poker will be giving away free tickets to the XL Series promotional satellites to those who are already playing real money at the website or have deposited at least once into their accounts. The link to claim the free tickets will be sent via email to the existing customers. Players who are not able to receive the link this week are advised to contact 888poker’s Customer Services.
The two daily satellites take place at 4pm and 8pm respectively. The first one will award each of the top 50 players with a $16.50 seat to the XL Inferno Mini Tune Up event. The second satellite will give participants the chance to win a seat worth $250 to the XL Inferno Main Event. Those finishing in the top 12 will get the prize.
The promo does not end there! By the time your free tickets are all used up, you may earn more by taking part in personal daily challenges. Keep an eye out for an email containing the details of the challenges, or simply stay tuned to 888poker for the latest updates.
During your first log-in to the poker client each day, you can play the Wheel game, giving you the opportunity to join the free-to-enter satellites. Securing a second ticket via the mobile app will not be allowed this time. Last year, players were able to earn additional tickets by playing on their smartphones in the evenings.
While the 2019 XL Inferno Series isn’t offering the same amount of prize money and number of events as the previous editions, this year’s tournament is still worth a try. Keep yourself posted for more information about the series by checking out the 888poker website.
