The World Series of Poker (WSOP) for the fifth consecutive year will continue its partnership with 888poker – the second biggest online poker room in the world.
The 2019 WSOP which is scheduled to take place from May 28 to July 16, 2019 at the Rio Convention Center in Las Vegas will be a very special edition as this is the 50th anniversary for the WSOP.
It is the dream of every poker player to play at the flagship WSOP Main Event and win as it guarantees them a 7 figure payout. However, not everyone can do it as the buy-in to the Main Event is $10,000 and there are also costs involved getting to Las Vegas.
888poker wants to make it possible for poker players who cannot get to the Main Event due to financial constraints. As WSOP’s exclusive online partner, 888poker is running LIVE Main Events, giving away free seats to the Las Vegas tournament. The winners will get to enjoy a WSOP Main Event package worth $12,600.
The package includes six nights hotel accommodation at the 5-star Vdara Hotel in Vegas, $1,000 deposited directly to the winners’ 888poker account which will cover travel and expenses, free three-day transportation from Vdara Hotel to the Rio Hotel & Casino on July 5 – 8, an 888poker LIVE kit, and most importantly, a $10,000 WSOP Main Event buy-in.
888poker is also offering players the option to take part in feeder tournaments with buy-ins beginning from as low as $0.01. This option will enable players to save significant amounts of money but there are a number of levels that you will have to cross in order to win the Main Event package. There is another way to qualify which is easier but involves a higher buy-in.

The Big 50 is a special event organized by WSOP to mark its 50th anniversary. The event is absolutely rake-free, with the buy-ins going entirely to the prize pool.
