ACR Running Special “Become Moneymaker” Sponsorship Promo

Top poker brands like PokerStars and partypoker extend sponsorship deals to only accomplished poker players or celebrities.

The average poker player dreams of not only winning a big poker tournament but also signing a sponsorship deal with a reputed poker operator.

Poker players will now get a chance to sign a sponsorship deal with Americas Cardroom (ACR) as the U.S. facing poker room has announced a special sponsorship package promotion that is open to all players.

The new ACR poker promotion is titled ‘Become Moneymaker’ in reference to its brand ambassador Chris Moneymaker. This promotion will give away a total package worth $105,000 to one lucky poker player.

Chris Moneymaker created history when he won the 2003 WSOP Main Event and went from being a novice poker player to a multi-millionaire overnight. Moneymaker was a PokerStars brand ambassador for years but finally moved on and joined ACR in Feb 2021. ACR’s goal was to expand its brand in the U.S. poker market by leveraging the relationship it has with Moneymaker.

The Moneymaker sponsorship program will start on April 12 and will run for a period of 12 weeks. The top players during this 12 week program will be shortlisted for a final table showdown and the eventual winner will get an ACR sponsor package that will give them a total of $105,000.

How To Qualify For Become Moneymaker Package?

ACR has made the process very simple for one to qualify for the ‘Become Moneymaker’ Package. Players who are interested in becoming the next ACR brand ambassador and winning $105,000 will have to play at any of the multi-table tournaments (MTT) at ACT between April 12 and July 4. The more MTTs you take part in during this time period, the better the chances of you qualifying.

The buy-ins for these MTTs are extremely low and start out at $0.01. The top 100 players on average in each MTT will be given points based on where they finish. Players can take note of their top five finishes each week. These results will make up their weekly points total and determine where they eventually finish on the leaderboard.

Each week, the top 30 players will advance to a final encounter which is set to take place on July 11. ACR will host three sessions on July 11, July 15 and July 25 where a total of 360 players will compete to become an honorary ACR Team Member.
