The tour’s final stop for 2023, APT Hanoi Billions, which runs from December 1-10 at the National Convention Center, is shaping up to be a huge, exciting series with ₫60 billion ($2.5 million) in combined guarantees set to be awarded across dozens of events.
APT Hanoi Billions – High-Roller Events
The 2023 APT Hanoi Billions features a jam-packed schedule of 96 events played in various formats, with by-ins ranging from $82 to $10,278. The high-roller events usually attract plenty of attention when it comes to major festivals, and APT Hanoi Billions has a lot to offer in this area, with more than 10 high-stakes events to choose from.
The first high-roller event on the schedule, NLHE High Roller 8-Max, takes place on the opening day with a buy-in of ₫70,000,000 (approx. $2,878). There are bigger versions of this event spread throughout the schedule, with buy-ins set at $4,000+.
The series also features a ₫70,000,000 ($4,933) APT Super High Roller 8-Max (Dec. 2), ₫50,000,000 ($2,056) NLHE High Roller Mystery Bounty (Dec. 5), ₫50,000,000 ($2,056) NLHE Zodiac Classic (Dec. 7), and ₫80,000,000 ($3,289) NLHE APT High Roller 8 Max (Dec. 9).
The biggest buy-in event on the line-up, the NLHE Superstar Challenge 8-Max, commands a ₫250,000,000 ($10,278) entry fee and takes place on December 4.
APT Main Event
As is the case with other huge festivals, the APT Hanoi Billions culminates in the APT Main Event which costs ₫36,000,000 ($1,480) to enter and comes with $1 million in guaranteed prize pool. The tournament features four starting flights running from December 4-6, with Day 2 and Day 3 scheduled for December 7 and 8. The tournament plays down to a winner on December 9.
Players may enter the Main Event for as low as $185 via live satellites running at the venue from December 1 to 5. They may even qualify for free through an NLHE Freeroll tournament which takes place on December 1 at 10:30 a.m.
