Summary:

  • Bally’s Twin River Lincoln rebranded its poker room following its partnership with Maverick Gaming.
  • The new room will host daily tournaments with buy-ins between $50 to $450 and cash games while creating new jobs.
  • The partnership is pending Rhode Island regulatory approval.

World-class gaming, restaurant, spa, accommodation, and entertainment destination with 3800+ slot machines, Bally’s Twin River Lincoln, broke the news of an interesting partnership with Maverick Gaming, the popular gaming operator known nationwide.

The casino featuring more than 5,000 gaming positions announced the new agreement aimed at rebranding its US poker room the “Bally’s Maverick Poker Room“, following the new partnership agreement signed with the operator.

What Poker Players Can Expect

The decision was necessary as a means to improve players’ poker experience via up to seven tournaments a week featuring buy-ins from $50 to $450 and a wide selection of cash games including iconic titles like No Limit Hold’Em.

As a result, seasoned players, high rollers, and recreational players alike can expect to enjoy what promises to be the ultimate poker experience.

Bally’s also expects to boost the revenue generated by its poker room while generating a series of new job openings.

Bally’s will continue to operate and manage the poker room which consists of approximately 23 tables, all located on the smoke-free second floor of the casino.

Building On a “Legacy of Excellence”

As explained by Bally’s Twin River’s regional vice president and general manager, Tony Rohrer, the rebranded poker room will offer a

more robust poker product and an elevated gaming experience by tapping into the knowledge and experience of Maverick Gaming to attract world-renowned poker players

Rohrer further added their goal was to also “position the Bally’s Maverick Poker Room as the premier poker destination in the region” while increasing revenue to the state.

Using its solid “legacy of excellence”, Bally’s keeps investing in all aspects of the experience it provides.

Last year, explained Rohrer, the brand “embarked on a transformative journey” by initiating renovations at Bally’s Twin River with the purpose of “redefining luxury” and enhancing the spaces.

The freshly added gaming area, Asian Food Hall, Korean-style spa, and areas dedicated to non-smokers are enhancements that further prove their continuous efforts to “innovate and exceed expectations”.

Maverik Gaming’s chief executive officer, Eric Persson, expressed their excitement to introduce their poker experience Bally’s Twin River, which he called “an ideal setting” for their bi-annual circuit event expected to draw in over 3,000 players.
