Dublin Set To Host Winamax Poker Open From Sept 17 to 23

The Winamax Poker Open (WPO) is one of the most exciting annual poker events in Europe.

The WPO will once again be making its regular stop in Dublin at Citywest Hotel on September 17th. The Winamax Poker Open which runs from September 17th to the 23rd will feature as many as 40 events that have buy-ins starting as low as €10 and range all the way up to €1,500.

The event is expected to be a lot of fun and players should enjoy the relaxed atmosphere that the WPO is so well known for.

All 40 events will be packed with thrills but it is the €1,500 High Roller and the €550 Main Event that will be the highlights of the WPO Dublin.

Featured Events

The €1,500 High Roller gets underway on September 18th at 3:00 p.m. sharp and it is scheduled to run over two days. There are three starting flights for the €550 Main Event. The first flight begins at noon on September 19th followed by noon on September 20th and then noon on September 21st. The winner will be crowned on September 23rd .

The WPO Dublin’s inaugural Main Event was in 2013 and since then the WSOP Main Event has continued to attract the top poker pros in Ireland. The reigning champion is Otto Richard who beat a total of 1,069 players last year to claim the €92,000 cash prize. The 2017 Winamax Poker festival’s Main Event had €534,500 in total up for grabs which was the biggest prize pool in the event’s history.

Don’t be surprised if the winner walks away with a seven-figure payday this year.
