Summary
GGPoker’s Bounty Hunter Series is back for a second edition! It will be an exciting, action-packed week ahead for fans of the popular progressive knockout (PKO) format as they compete for $30,000,000 million in guarantees across hundreds of tournaments. The festival kicks off on February 27 and runs through March 13, featuring a wide range of stakes for players of all bankrolls.
The latest iteration of the Bounty Hunter Series is smaller than the inaugural event. The 2020 series had $40 million in guaranteed prize money spread out across a total of 556 tournaments with an average guarantee of $71,942. It also featured a $10,300 event which served as the main highlight of the festival.
This time around, GGPoker has decided to scale down things, with the upcoming festival carrying a reduced guarantee of $30 million. The number of events is also lower at 435, with $68,966 in average guarantee. The operator also dropped the $10,300 tournament, with the latest schedule featuring the highest buy-in of $1,050.
Nevertheless, all players are in for some thrilling action and massive prizes with entry fees made more affordable. For as low as $5.25, players can win big prizes with extra opportunities to boost their winnings.
The biggest prizes are up for grabs each Sunday of the series where more than $5 million in guaranteed prizes are on offer. The huge Sunday lineup includes a $525 buy-in Bounty Hunters HR Main Event which comes with a $1 million guarantee. GGPoker will also be running direct satellites for the event which start at $26.
Other events that players should be on the lookout for include the Global MILLION$ Bounty Edition where they will compete for a share of $1 million in guaranteed prize pool for an affordable buy-in of only $50. Daily satellites are also available for this key event.
There’s also a Special Edition GGMasters $25 Bounty Freezeouts running each day, alongside a $210 Daily Big Game, a PKO tournament that features 100,000 chips as starting stack.
