North Cyprus Casino To Kick Off the Merit Poker RETRO 3

North Cyprus’s luxury gaming facility Merit Crystal Cove Hotel & Casino Resort is hosting the Merit Poker RETRO 3 between Sept. 17 and 27. The RETRO 3 will offer over $2,000,000 in combined guarantees with the headline $5,000 Main Event alone offering a guarantee of $1,000,000.

With more than 25 events, the festival offers a wide range of buy-ins that makes it easy for poker players from all ranks to participate and have a go at the massive guaranteed prize pool.

Poker players heading to the event will enjoy the new luxurious poker room. Featuring 26 gaming tables and a well-appointed final table area, the room offers the best in player comfort and convenience.

Amenities include three massage chairs, a platform lift for disabled access, and spacious sitting arrangements along with new modern poker tables. For professional poker players, the five day Main Event beginning Sept. 21 is sure to be the main draw.

Players will start with 30,000 in chips and blinds increasing every 60 minutes up to 10 levels. The structure offers unlimited re-entries until the end of Level 10 which awards players multiple opportunities to take a shot at entering the event. From Level 11 onwards, blinds will start increasing every 75 minutes.

A key highlight of the Retro 3 will be the presence of two former November Niners – the Belgian poker legend Pierre Neuville and French poker pro Antoine Saout. Neuville who is Merit Poker's Ambassador made history by becoming the oldest player to reach the final table of 2015 WSOP Main Event and was part of the November Nine. Saout has also made several notable appearances in the WSOP Main Event having finished at 3rd, 5th and 25th places across different editions.

Poker players will have a large number of events to pick from over the 10 tournament. Some of the events listed in the schedule are: the $1,500 0NL Warm Up with a guarantee of $200,000, the $440 NL Turbo with $12,000 guarantee, the $660 NL Turbo Deep Stack, the $660 NL Turbo Bounty with $25,000 guarantee, the $1100 NL Turbo Bounty $500 K.O. 8 Max for $40,000, the $1,100 NL Mix Max for $60,000, and the $1,000 NL Merit Poker Cup for $100,000 guarantee.

For high stakes players, there is the $10,000 NL High Roller with a guarantee of $250,000. In addition to exciting action on the felt, players can also enjoy a performance by pop star Arash on Sept. 23.
