Partypoker has announced the launch of an exclusive VIP level for its new Cashback Loyalty Program that will reward players with at least 50 percent rake back. Replacing its earlier loyalty program, Partypoker’s new structure will offer between 20 and 40 percent as cashback every week to players.
Under the new scheme, Partypoker players will net one point for every $1 contributed towards cash game rake or tournament fees on the site. Once 25 points have been earned in a week, partypoker will award cash back at a rate of 20 percent every Monday. With this system, more points earned during the week will result in more cash.
The overhaul of the loyalty scheme with renewed focus on regular players comes in wake of new partypoker Chairman Mike Sexton announcing his 10 priorities, one of which is to reward players who show commitment towards playing on the site.
The Diamond Club will reward members with a minimum of 50 percent rakeback along with several other exciting VIP bonuses. Other perks available to members include 24/7 Skype Customer Support. Partypoker Ambassador Patrick Leonard will be overseeing the club and will also be consulted with respect to software and product improvements.
The company has stated that top volume players who rake at least $100,000 over a 12-month period will be eligible to be a part of this Club. Players will receive cash back every Monday into their accounts. Additional cash payment as well as the VIP bonuses will be received once players hit the necessary point targets.
Leonard opened up about his role as an ambassador and said one of the main reasons he signed up was to have a chance to grow the game and improve the experience for poker players. With the Diamond Club, regular players will be encouraged to play while predatory players who play intermittently just to prey on weaker players will be discouraged.
Tom Waters Managing Director of Partypoker acknowledged Leonard's inputs in developing the concept of the Diamond Club.
In a statement Tom Waters said
It’s important that we reward all our players. The Diamond Club comes as part of the roll-out of the new, significantly improved partypoker Cashback loyalty program. Having Patrick’s input in creating this VIP level in the new, rewarding rakeback scheme was imperative to ensure we got this right. We have listened and I’m sure that we are giving the players what they want.
