WSOP Circuit Event To Be Held At King’s Casino

A new World Series of Poker Circuit event is scheduled to kick off in November at the King's Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic which is known for having Europe’s largest poker room.

Commencing on Nov. 14, this event will run for 19 days bringing 14 WSOP Circuit (WSOPC) gold rings events with guaranteed pool prizes worth over €2,250,000. This is the second WSOPC event to be held at the venue.

The headliner event is the €1,650 Main Event which will be played over four days. With a stunning €1,000,000 guarantee, the event is bound to attract a significant number of players.

The event will have two opening flights on Nov. 11 and 12, followed by the main event on Nov. 13 and 14.

Event partner 888poker is already running qualifiers for the main event on its site offering players a chance to win a free entry. Players can also try their hand at qualifiers which will be held at the venue prior to the tournament.

The first WSOPC event was held in 2015 at the same venue and was very well-received. The Main Event attracted 715 entries which generated a prize pool worth €1,021,911 creating a new record for the largest WSOP Circuit Main Event held outside the United States. Poland's Mateusz Dziewonski was the eventual winner beating Andrew King from Ireland in a heads-up play to win the prize worth €206,927.

King’s Casino

This year’s winner of the Main Event as well as the Player of the Series will be getting a free entry ticket to the 2016 WSOP Global Casino Championship, just like last year’s winners did.
