Partypoker, the online poker website recently announced that it has added another leading poker pro to its roster of brand ambassadors. Jackie Glazier is the seventh ambassador to represent the site.
Glazier is a well-known poker player from Australia, having over $1.3 million in live tournament winnings. She joins other prominent ambassadors on the partypoker team such as Tony Dunst, Mike Sexton, Patrick Leonard, Roberto Romanello, Natalia Breviglieri and four-time World Champion Boxer Carl Froch who will be appearing on behalf of the brand at both off line and online events.
In 2012, Glazier won the A$1,100 Melbourne Poker Championship taking home winnings of A$95,000 barely a year after she turned professional. She was also the runner-up that year in the $3,000 No-Limit Hold’em event at the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Glazier took home $458,996 in that win which is her highest to date live tournament winnings. In 2013, she won a gold bracelet at WSOP Europe winning the €1,100 No-Limit Hold’em Ladies Event for €21,850. She also had a deep run in that year’s Main Event, finishing 31st for $229,281.

Tom Waters Group Head of partypoker welcomed Glazier to partypoker saying the company was happy to welcome a player of her reputation on to the team. Waters stated that partypoker was seeking to invest in grassroots poker in Australia and Glazier was the best person for it.

Glazier signed a contract to be a partypoker ambassador for the next two years. Prior to this, she represented poker training website Ivey Poker and later joined 888poker, world’s second largest poker site as an ambassador. She was one of the site’s longest serving ambassadors. Glazier will initially represent partypoker at a few tournaments in Australia. Towards the end of the year, she will participate in the partypoker Million as well as in the WPT Caribbean at the Caribbean Poker Party. Next year, she will represent the brand at the UK casino Dusk Till Dawn in April and then in Las Vegas for the biggest tournament series of the year, the 2017 WSOP.
