The McLaren Turbo Series on partypoker officially wrapped up with the crowning of the winners of the Main Event and Mini Main Event. In the end, the top honors went to “naoseiquemeusou” and “SoyTuSicaria” who took down both events respectively.
The $33 buy-in McLaren Turbo Series Main Event was among the festival’s most-attended tournaments, attracting 4,343 entries to generate $130,290 in total prize pool, way past its $100,000 guarantee.
The top 626 players all walked away with cash, including partypoker ambassador Matt Staples who fell short of reaching the final table after busting in 11th place for $657.
“Howzithowzit” was the first to leave the nine-handed final table, finishing 9th for $836 in total prizes, including bounties. “P4G4 0 B1G0D3” was eliminated next, taking home $1,261 in total winnings for their 8th-place finish.
“EMERSONRN186” secured the 7th spot for $1,117 plus $731 in bounties for a total payout of $1,848. “DaDBM” and “DominikChmiel16” finished 6th and 5th respectively, earning $2,095 and $2,732 in total prizes. “CarlosRocha1” took home $4,358 for finishing in 4th place, while “Betzaiten” earned $5,643 for finishing 3rd.
“naoseiquemeusou” and “Merci_bcp” battled it out during heads-up play but it was the former who finished on top, claiming the only five-figure payout of the event worth $11,997, which included $4,542 in bounties.
The $5.50 Mini Main Event also had a huge turnout, recording 4,687 registrations. The tournament’s final prize pool reached $23,435, smashing its $20,000 initial guarantee.
“SoyTuSicaria” dominated the tournament, claiming the top prize worth $1,341 plus $969 in bounties for a total payout of $2,310. “champenjytte” finished runner-up for $1,599, and right behind him was “PerdiFazendaTio” who took home $976 for their 3rd-place finish.
Completing the final table were “tweetie46” (4th, $675), “Usherpeter76” (5th, $530), “Aleksey4h” (6th, $340), “Nico Jardim” (7th, $333), “Kingpin2324” (8th, $174) and “Hammerdust” (9th, $210).
With the McLaren Turbo Series now over, all eyes will be on the partypoker LIVE MILLIONS Malta which kicks off on September 22 and runs through October 3 at Portomaso Casino.
