partypoker Could Be Coming Out With Built-in HUDs Tools

partypoker is facing stiff competition from the number one online poker operator in the world PokerStars and GGPoker.

While PokerStars and GGPoker focus on launching bigger poker tournaments with huge guarantees, partypoker has decided to focus its attention on making its online poker room better.

partypoker is investing in developing a new version of its online poker software. The market only learned of this development when Paris Anatolitis, MD for Party Brands disclosed that a new 3.0 software update was in the pipeline.

Anatolitis did not disclose a lot of information as to what players can expect from the new software version. He did disclose that the new software update might include an internal Heads-Up Display (HUD) tool as that was something the internal team was reviewing. We must point out that Anatolitis did not confirm that it the new software update would automatically include internal Heads-Up Display (HUD) tools.

This announcement does not come as a major surprise to fans of partypoker. The online poker operator announced in 2019 that it was going to focus on cleaning up its online poker room by targeting cheaters and bots. Players were also informed that they would no longer be able to use HUD’s to collect third party data and help them with the online poker gameplay.

partypoker did this because it wanted to level the online poker field and stop newbies and inexperienced poker players from being exploited by players who relied on HUDs to gain an unfair advantage over unsuspecting poker payers.

Heads-Up Display (HUD) Tools Now The Norm

partypoker is developing its own internal HUDs to allow players access to key data but want to ensure that it is controlled internally. A number of online poker operators have added internal HUDs to their software in recent times. French poker operator Winamax introduced its own Stats Tracker feature while Run It Once came out with its own HeroIQ HUD in 2020.

iPoker introduced its own HUD tool in March 2021 while GGPoker has been offering HUDs since 2018 and has arguably the best HUD tool amongst all the other poker rooms that have internal HUDs. partypoker is lagging behind in this regard but it looks like the new poker update with internal HUDs could be rolled out before the end of the year.
