partypoker recently announced that it has decided to double the guaranteed prize pool for the Main Event of the LIVE MILLIONS Caribbean Poker Party (CPP) tournament this year.

The online poker operator also announced that it will hold satellite events in the lead out to the CPP which will give players a chance to sit on the Main Event without shelling out a single dollar!

After the success of partypoker’s Caribbean festival in November last year, the series is coming back in 2018 with a doubled prize pool. This 2018 edition will take place from November 9 to 18 and players all over the world can compete at the Caribbean Poker Party 2018 $5,300 Main Event to get a chunk of the massive $10 million prize pool.

Win A Seat To The Main Event For Less Than $1

The LIVE MILLIONS Caribbean Poker Party will be transferring from Dominican Republic to the Bahamas and will be held at the newly opened Baha Mar Resort & Casino. Players who are finding it difficult to raise funds to pay for the $5,300 Main Event could take the laborious but fulfilling satellite route. Partypoker is hosting weekly qualifiers to give players a chance to play in the Bahamas and are hosting events with buy-ins as low as $0.50.

The four-tier satellite system will start with a daily Caribbean Poker Party Centrolls at $0.50. Players who win can then advance to the daily Caribbean Poker Party Quarter Finals at $22 and then into the Caribbean Poker Party Semi Finals at $109. Those who make it past these rounds can then battle it off at the $1,050 Caribbean Poker Party Final.

Partypoker Offering 10 x $12,000 Special Packages

Buy-ins can be made in any stage but starting earlier on in the tiers will let players build their stacks going into the weekly finals. The weekly finals will be held every Sunday at 8 p.m. GMT, starting April 16. Partypoker is giving out 10 special packages worth $12,000 for the CPP. These packages will be given out every Sunday and consists of the $5,300 Main Event buy-in, nine nights of accommodation for two at Baha Mar, $1,000 resort credit and $2,000 cash for travel expenses.
