partypoker Launches $150,000 Weekly Cash Game Leaderboards

One of the reasons why partypoker has turned into the best player friendly online poker website in the last couple of years is because the online poker room continues to come out with new tournaments and offers that are both innovative and outstanding.

The latest announcement from the second biggest online poker room in the world is sure to excite its cash game players.

partypoker has confirmed that it will be running ‘Cash Game Leaderboards’ on a weekly basis which will allow players a chance to tap into the $150,000 which is on the line.

This promotion is applicable to all cash games except for short deck poker and heads up. Players will need to generate as many leaderboard points as they can each week to stand a chance of winning a cash prize which has a max payout of $2000.

Cash Game Leaderboards

The same rate that is used to give back cashback points will be the same rate that is used to calculate the leaderboard points. Cash game players will find a total of eight leaderboards which is broken down into 4 leaderboards for PLO and 4 leaderboards for Hold’em. These leaderboards are divided into High, Medium, Low and Micro based on the stakes you put down.

partypoker decided to split up the leaderboard based on this format in order to give all players a chance to boost their bankrolls and see if they can win a cash prize on a weekly basis. The online poker room also announced that it has plans to boost this promotion in the weeks to come. The plan is to get the total prize money up from $150,000 to $180,000 by running more promotions alongside the Cash Game Leaderboards promotion.

Weekly Sit & Go Leaderboards

partypoker players who like playing Sit and Go tournaments will also have a chance to make their mark on the leaderboards and win a portion of the $23,500 in prize money which is up for grabs each week. There are four SNG leaderboards that run during similar hours as the Cash Game Leaderboards. Players can participate in nine handed, eight handed and six handed SNG games during this promotion.
