Summary:
Fans of the progressive knock-out (PKO) format should check out partypoker this month as the site hosts a KO edition of its popular flagship festival MILLIONS Online.
Running from May 4-30, the all-PKO series features 10 numbered tournaments along with plenty of side events and satellites.
As with any other major series out there, the partypoker MILLIONS Online KO Edition is headlined by the Main Event. Players have two Main Events to choose from: the first one is a No-Limit Hold’em event with a buy-in of $530, while the other one is played in Pot-Limit Omaha and costs $215 to enter.
The $530 No-Limit Hold’em Main Event comes with a huge $500,000 guarantee, while the $215 PLO version features $100,000 in guaranteed prize money.
Players can enter these Main Events for a fraction of the price via online qualifiers running on partypoker. Another option is via SPINS satellites where players can win prizes in the form of cash and tournament tickets worth up to $530 which they can use to secure a seat into the Main Events.
Apart from the two Main Events, there are other major events to watch out for in the series, including the MILLIONS Online KO #05 6-Max Championship which has a buy-in of $215 and a guarantee of $200,000. It takes place on May 8. The $320 buy-in, $250K GTD MILLIONS Online KO #07 7-Max Championship on May 15 is also worth a try.
The schedule also includes four Sunday Party events, all with a buy-in of $109. Two of them offer $150,000 in guarantees, while there’s $200,000 in guaranteed prize pool up for grabs in the remaining two. The four Sunday Party events take place on May 7, 14, 21, and 28.
There’s no shortage of action for the entire duration of the series as players may also take part in daily, weekly, and special tournaments, on top of the 10 numbered events.
While taking part in the MILLIONS Online KO Edition, players may also take advantage of partypoker’s updated MTT schedule which is now bigger than ever with hundreds of extra tournaments added to the weekly lineup. They include two new Sunday majors – the $109 buy-in, $150K GTD The Sunday Party, and the $22 buy-in, $50K GTD The Sunday Carnival.
