partypoker New Jersey Online Series Gets Under Way This Sunday

The partypoker US Network is set to host another Online Series for its players in New Jersey. The latest edition of the popular tournament series will take place from March 21 to 28, featuring 11 events with a combined guaranteed prize pool of $360,000.

Players may take part in the festival via partypoker NJ, BetMGM Poker NJ, and Borgata Poker. Buy-ins begin at $20, going all the way up to $1,060. Guarantees of between $10,000 and $125,000 are up for grabs across a week of online action, culminating in the $125K GTD 8-Max Main Event, which gets underway on March 28.

The series kicks off with the $215 buy-in, $50K GTD Sunday Special NLH on March 21, the festival’s second-largest guaranteed event. The schedule also includes four Progressive Knockout Bounty NLH tournaments taking place on March 22, 23, 25 and 17, a $10K GTD 6Max PLO and a $320 buy-in Heads Up tournament both running on the 24th, as well as a $20K GTD 40-Stack 8Max NLH on the 26th.

The festival will close on March 28 with three events: a $10K GTD Mini Championship NLH, $35K GTD Sunday NLH, and the $125K GTD Main Event, the final table of which will be live-streamed the following day.

The Main Event is expected to smash its guarantee, with early sign-ups already generating $89,000 in prize pool.

Responding to Player Feedback

The upcoming series is bigger than the previous edition in January, which featured a $290,000 guarantee. The partypoker US Network team decided to up the guarantee, increasing the entry fee for the Main Event from $250 to $1,060, following player feedback. New tournaments have also been added to the schedule, such as the $320 Heads-Up event on March 24.

Borgata sponsored pro Katie Stone is among those looking forward to taking part in the festival. She’s delighted and proud to be part of a team that takes player feedback seriously in order to provide the best-structured tournaments for everyone.
