Poker Central Offering Free Episodes Of Pokerography On YouTube

If you’re not subscribed to PokerGo, you still have a chance to check out some cool action by subscribing to Poker Central’s YouTube channel now for free Pokerography episodes featuring WSOP Main Event champions Chris Moneymaker, Phil Hellmuth and Johnny Chan.

The documentary series titled Pokerography is part of Poker Central’s premium content. Since 2015, Poker Central has been creating 20-minute documentaries to give poker fans a sneak peek into the lives of top poker pros and tell the stories of how they rose to fame. There are some interesting snapshots of these legendary poker pros when they were little.

The whole Pokerography series is available with a PokerGo subscription. Some of the most prominent poker pros that have been featured in the series in the past few years include Jason Somerville and his story of how as a 19-year-old college dropout, battling a serious illness, he chased his poker dreams; Jennifer Tilly and how she transitioned from a Oscar nominee to a WSOP gold bracelet holder; Erik Seidel and how he overcame self-doubt to become one of the top poker pros in the world and Isaac Haxton and his story of leveraging his gift for mathematics into a poker advantage.

Those who have no access to PokerGo’s premium content will be pleased to know that Poker Central has put up three episodes of Pokerography on its YouTube channel. Pokerography On YouTube First to be released was the documentary of Johnny Chan, a poker prodigy who was so good at playing poker in his teens that no one wanted to play with him. The Chinese-American pro won his first two WSOP Main Event bracelets in a back-to- back win in 1987 and 1988, and has since won 8 more.

Another interesting documentary that can be accessed for free right now is the Pokerography episode of Phil Hellmuth, the legendary pro with 14 WSOP bracelets to his name, two WSOP Main Event bracelets, and more than $22 million in live earnings.

Known as the Poker Brat, Hellmuth’s story gives an insight into his amazing career, how he struggled with ADHD, disappointed his high-achiever family, and then finally making the momentous decision to leave school to become one of today’s most successful poker players. The third free documentary is based on Chris Moneymaker. He is well known for being the first person to become a WSOP Main Event champion after he qualified via a $39 online poker satellite event in 2003 and went on to win $2.5 million.
