PokerStars Drops Sunday Million Buy-in To Just $54.50 for December 15

PokerStars is making its Sunday Million tournament even more accessible to player of all levels, reducing the buy-in to just $54.50, but for a limited period only. So, if you want to turn your small investment into massive winnings, mark your calendar for a special edition of the Sunday Million tournament, taking place on December 15-16.

The world’s largest online poker site has continued to come out with unique offers and promos for its ever-growing player base. The Sunday tournament was originally priced at $215. However, PokerStars decided earlier this year to halve the buy-in to just $109, but the seven-figure guarantee has remained.

Now for the first time ever, the Sunday Million tournament will be played below the $100 buy-in mark, which means that it will need to attract at least 20,000 entries to be able to hit the $1 million guarantee target.

Special Low Buy-in Sunday Million

The Sunday Million usually takes place over several days, in conjunction with major festivals like the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP), and the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP). However the upcoming special edition will run for only two days during a regular week which is another first in the history of the tournament.

Players will kick off the action on December 15 at 7:00 pm CET, and will battle it out for a spot on Day 2 which will take place the following day, December 16, during which a winner will be crowned. From the $54.50 buy-in, $50 will go straight to the prize pool.

Online Satellites

PokerStars will also be running plenty of satellites, giving players the opportunity to take part in the December 15 edition of the Sunday Million for a much lower price.

Players can take a shot at Sit & Go satellites with buy-ins ranging from $0.25 to $5.50, or play in traditional MTT satellites for as low as $0.55. Apart from that, there will also be special edition Spin & Go tournaments with just a $0.60 entry fee where you could win extra prizes.

PokerStars’ Half Price Sunday promo also includes two other Sunday majors – the $125,000 guaranteed Sunday Warm-up with a reduced buy-in of $107.50, as well as the $150,000 guaranteed Sunday Storm with a $5.50 buy-in. These two tournaments are a one-day affair, with satellites also running.
