PokerStars “EasterWithAces” Series Comes With Platinum Pass Up For Grabs

Summary

  • The series runs until April 17, with $186K in guarantees on offer
  • The festival concludes in a freeroll tournament that will award a Platinum Pass
  • Twitch streamer Fintan “easywithaces” Hand will host the series

PokerStars is currently hosting a new, exciting tournament series dubbed “EasterWithAces“, named after Twitch streamer Fintan “easywithaces” Hand. The online festival kicked off on April 4 and will run until April 17 with 10 events to choose from.

In addition to that, PokerStars will also run six community home games from April 13-15 exclusive to the members of Fintan’s Home Games Club. Players can enter these home games for as low as $0.11.

The series will wrap up in a special freeroll tournament where qualifying players get the chance to win a Platinum Pass worth $30,000.

EasterWithAces Highlights

The 10-event schedule features buy-ins ranging from $5.50 to $55, with a combined guaranteed prize pool of more than $186,000. The main highlight of the series is easily the Main Event that is set for April 16 and costs $33 to enter and comes with $75,000 in guarantees.

The schedule also includes a $55 buy-in, $20K GTD High Roller (April 9) and a $22 buy-in, $10K GTD Marathon event (April 11).

Main Event satellites are currently running on PokerStars which players can enter for only $1.10. The site is also hosting satellites for the other key tournaments, with buy-ins starting at $0.55.

EasterWithAces Freeroll

Perhaps the most exciting part of the festival is the freeroll finale, where the winner walks away with a coveted PokerStars Players Championship (PSPC) Platinum Pass valued at $30,000. The champion won’t be the only player taking home cool prizes, as the top 100 finishers will also win tournament tickets starting from $11 all the way up to $5,300.

To take part in the finale, players need to secure a ticket. They can do so in two ways: finish in the top 20 in any of the 10 scheduled events, or reach the top 100 in at least one community home game.

Fintan will host the event and to add more fun and excitement to the series, he will take on multiple challenges throughout the festival. Failure to complete any of the challenges will subject Fintan to forfeits while on stream.

Fintan took part in the opening event on April 4 where he finished 22nd out of 1,586 entries. The massive field generated $15,542 in total prize money, more than double the initial $7,500 guarantee. The tournament was won by Finland’s “hassabi” for $2,200 following a heads-up deal with runner-up finisher “ZzZzZzZzSsZ” of Canada who took home $1,856.
