PokerStars’ EU Players Can Now Use Paysafe’s Rapid Transfer

Multinational payments company Paysafe Group has joined forces with the world’s largest online poker site PokerStars to roll out its Rapid Transfer online payment service for the online poker room’s players in ten European countries.

By using Rapid Transfer, players can make online payments instantly from their bank account without having to leave a gambling operator or merchant’s website.

The service allows for a smooth transaction, enabling users to receive payment confirmation instantly by using their online banking credentials. Rapid Transfer is one of a wide range of solutions in the Paysafe portfolio.

The latest addition of Rapid Transfer to PokerStars list of available deposit methods further establishes the online poker room’s relationship with the payments provider. PokerStars already uses a number of Paysafe’s digital payment services like NETELLER, Skrill, and PaySafeCard

PokerStars’ move to diversify its payment methods falls in line with a recent industry research conducted by Paysafe where 26 percent of respondents cited a lack of available payment options on their website as one of the main reasons for abandoned transactions. Paysafe carried out the survey across several online businesses in the US, the UK, Canada, Austria and Germany

Lorenzo Pellegrino who is responsible for Paysafe’s Rapid Transfer solution said the company was delighted to support PokerStars in its effort to provide quality service to its wide customer base. Given that PokerStars is the market leader in online poker, the partnership will strengthen Paysafe’s standing in the global online poker market and further boost the image of its Rapid Transfer solution.

The Stars Group which is the parent company of PokerStars recently announced that its newly re-launched affiliate program will be powered by Income Access, another digital payment service operated by Paysafe. Income Access also secured a deal with Kindred Group to power the online betting group’s US affiliate program.
