There’s a brand-new series at PokerStars! The online poker site is looking to end 2020 and welcome the New Year with a bang via a massive festival that is set to give away a massive $60 million in guarantees.
The inaugural “Blowout Series” features a total of 268 tournaments, and is designed to cater to players of all levels. The Blowout Series kicks off on December 27, and will run through January 19, 2021.
Most of the festival’s events are categorized into three buy-in levels: Low, Medium, and High.
If bankroll is an issue for you, you can try out the low-tier tournaments which you can enter for as low as $2.20, or you can go a bit higher to participate in the medium-level events which begin at $22.
If high-stakes action is your thing, there are a number of High Roller events thrown into the mix, with buy-ins going as high as $10,300.
The series includes four tournaments which come with a $5 million guarantee. They are dubbed “The Big Blowout“, and each event will be played in no-limit hold’em 8-Max format. The first one will take place on December 27, while the three other events are scheduled for January 3, 10, and 17. The buy-ins are $109, $215, $530, and $1,050 respectively.
Perhaps the best value tournament in the schedule is the New Year’s Bash, which features $2 million in guarantees for a buy-in of only $11! If you’re looking to welcome 2021 in epic fashion, then this could be your chance!
Other events with seven-figure guaranteed prize pools include two NLHE 8-Max High Roller tournaments with buy-ins of $5,200 and $10,300, both awarding $1 million. An NLHE 8-Max PKO Series Saver is also set to dish out $1 million in guarantees.
You might also want to take part in two NLHE 8-Max Turbo PKO tournaments (Event 03 and Event 84), each guaranteeing $40K and $50K for an entry fee of only $2.20, or take a shot at Event 49 L: NLHE 8-Max PKO Mini Saturday KO SE which features a buy-in of only $11, and a guarantee of $200,000.
While most of the schedule are NLHE events, the series also offers a number of tournaments for mixed games fans who enjoy the following formats: PLO 6-Max, NLO8 8-Max, PLO8 8-Max, 5-Card PLO 6-Max, 8-Game, HORSE and 6+ Hold’em.
