The latest edition of the MicroMillions series will run from July 2-16 and offers $4.4 million in guaranteed prize pool, spread out across a massive schedule of 208 tournaments. Players will again get the chance to compete in a wide variety of formats and variants, all with buy-ins ranging from $1.10 to $55.
The MicroMillions Main Event is easily the main highlight of the series, with the tournament boasting a huge $500,000 guarantee for an affordable buy-in of only $22. It will take place on July 16 and will adopt an 8-max progressive knockout format, which means players can earn some cash without necessarily reaching the final table.
Players kick off the action with a 25,000 stack played to ten-minute levels. The tournament allows up to five re-entries, with late registration staying open for three hours and five minutes.
The reigning MicroMillions Main Event champion is Brazil’s “matthew085” who won the tournament in 2022 after outlasting a massive field of 27,544 entries for a total prize of $36,295 including bounties.
Cheaper Options to Enter the Main Event
Despite the modest $22 entry fee for the Main Event, PokerStars is still giving players more options to win their way into the tournament for a much cheaper price. The site is running satellites, plus there are Spin & Go tournaments available for as low as $0.40 which players can convert into a Main Event seat.
