Summary:
The popular “Midstakes Madness” returns to PokerStars for another edition this year, with the online series set to kick off on August 6. As the name suggests, the festival is designed for the mid-stakes grinders and offers a week of online action with dozens of events to choose from.
Players will compete for more than $5.8 million in guaranteed prizes, and they can enter the series via the newly-launched Power Path promo.
The 2023 Midstakes Madness runs from August 6-13 on PokerStars, featuring a total of 61 events, with buy-ins ranging from $11 to $109. Popular real money poker tournaments from previous editions are making a comeback, with PokerStars also boosting the guarantees on multiple events. That effort has resulted in a huge $5,855,000 guaranteed prize pool which players shouldn’t miss!
The festival opens on August 6 with some key events, such as the $109 Sunday Million [8-Max, Progressive KO] which comes with a $1,000,000 guarantee.
As usual, the main highlight of the festival is the Main Event. The tournament is a special edition of the Sunday Million and has a buy-in of $109, with $1 million in guaranteed prize money up for grabs. The final action of the Sunday Million PKO Midstakes Madness Main Event is scheduled for August 13.
The schedule also includes a mini Main Event, the Sunday Storm Mini Main Event, which has a more affordable entry fee of $11 but offers $100,000 in guarantees. It takes place on August 13. Other highlights include the $109 Thursday Thrill Special Edition (August 10), the $22 Mini Battle Royale Special Edition (August 9) and the $55 Mini Bounty Builder High Roller Special Edition (August 13).
Players may secure a seat into the Main Event through PokerStars’ new Power Path promo. Those with Bronze Passes are eligible to enter any $109 buy-in event on the schedule, including the Main Event. Additionally, players with a Step 4 Power Path ticket may also use it to take part in any Sunday Million event (there are two special-edition Sunday Million events to choose from during Midstakes Madness).
