Summary:
PokerStars is running a new promotion that gives players the chance to secure seats into upcoming major live events sponsored by the operator.
As its name suggests, “Power Path” serves as a pathway for players to gain access to some of the most popular PokerStars tournament series across the globe. Those who prefer to stick to the virtual felt can also turn their prizes into online tournament tickets.
Power Path involves four step tournaments where you can win a Bronze, Silver, or Gold pass. Step 1 is played as a Spin & Go tournamentPokerStars is giving away $0.50 Step 1 tickets daily. You can win yours by simply playing cash games or tournaments and generating a rake of at least $0.01.
After getting past Step 1, you’ll have the option to play either a $1 buy-in Power Path Sit & Go or a $1.50 buy-in Power Path Step 2 tournament.
The $1 buy-in Sit & Go games award prizes – including tickets to Power Path Step 3 – to the top four players. Meanwhile, the $1.50 Power Path Step 2 tournament is generally a satellite tournament to Power Path Step 3 which has a buy-in of $11.
Similarly, those who get past Step 3 secure a seat into the $109 Power Path Step 4 tournament where Silver and Gold passes are on offer. Do note that the buy-in option is only available in Steps 1-3. You need to survive Step 3 to advance to the final stage.
Getting to Step 4 should be your ultimate goal as the biggest prizes are all here. There are $2,500 Silver passes up for grabs daily, with $10,300 gold passes on offer each week.
If you win a Silver pass, you may choose from the following prizes: UKIPT Blackpool package, Eureka Poker Tour Hamburg Package, FPS Paris Package, Sunday Million Tickets Bundle and Online Bundle. Each live tournament package includes entry into the Main Event.
The Gold pass allows you to win one of these prizes: European 2023 Passport, UKIPT 2023 Passport, and European Poker Tour (EPT) Barcelona Package. Again, these packages include Main Event entries plus up to €3,270 expenses.
