PokerStars To Light Up The Caribbean With PCA and PSPC This Month

Summary

  • PokerStars is heading to the Caribbean in Jan 2023
  • PokerStars Caribbean Adventure will run from Jan 22 to Feb 3
  • $25,000 PSPC to be part of 2023 PCA

Some of the top high stakes poker players from around the world will make their way to the Caribbean in Jan 2023 to get a mix of vacation time and a chance to play at the 2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure (PCA).

PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship

The $25,000 PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship has only taken place once in 2019 and turned out to be a great success with Ramon Colillas coming out on top and collecting a whopping $5.1 million in prize money.

PokerStars tried twice to schedule the Players No Limit Hold’em Championship in Barcelona in 20202 and 2021 but had to cancel the same due to COVID-19. PokerStars decided to scrap the idea of hosting the Players No Limit Hold’em Championship in Europe and has once again added it to the PCA.

The operator has given away hundreds of $25,000 Platinum Passes which allows players who won these passes the chance to fly to the Caribbean and see if they can win the second PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship.

2023 PokerStars Caribbean Adventure

The PCA was a very popular live poker tournament that players from around the world were happy to attend. PokerStars announced in 2019 that it was going to suspend the PCA from 2020 and a left a lot of players disappointed. The poker operator has decided to reintroduce the PCA in 2023.

The 2023 PCA will run from Jan 22 to Feb 3 at the Baha Mar casino as usual. The PCA will be filled with a great selection of action packed events such as the opening event which is the $100,000 PCA Super High Roller from Jan 22-24, the PCA PLO High Roller which has a $25,000 buy-in and runs from Jan 27-28 and the $25,000 PCA High Roller which runs from Feb 1-3.

The Main Event at the PCA will have a $10,300 buy-in and run from Jan 23 to 29. While the Main Event is usually the most popular event at a live poker tournament, there is a difference at the PCA because the $25,000 PokerStars Players No Limit Hold’em Championship is also set to be a part of the 2023 PCA.
