Poland’s Marcin Dziubdziela Takes Home 2020 GGMasters POY Title

The GGMasters Player of the Year race has reached the finish line with Marcin Dziubdziela ending up at No. 1!

The Polish poker pro earned enough points (3,508.72) throughout the year to secure the title and enjoy a host of amazing prizes from GGPoker, including thousands worth of GGMasters tickets which he can use in 2021.

Trailing behind Dziubdziela was Paraskevas “Cantaloupe7” Tsokaridis (3,481.69 points), with both players separated by just 27.03 points.

Tsokaridis, who hails from Cyprus, can also look forward to a fantastic year ahead at the virtual felts under “Cantaloupe7” as he also gets the chance to build his bankroll without spending too much, courtesy of the prizes he won for finishing at No. 2 in the overall leaderboard.

By winning the GGMasters Player of the Year race, Dziubdziela will receive 50x tickets to the $1,050 GGMasters High Roller, 50x tickets to the $150 GGMasters, and $50,000 in tournament dollars. Runner-up finisher Tsokaridis takes home 25x tickets to the $1,050 GGMasters High Roller, 50 entries to the $150 GGMasters, as well as $40,000 worth of tournament dollars.

Dziubdziela and Tsokaridis aren’t the only players to walk away with fantastic prizes – the rest of the Top 20 are all smiles as well, as they too have their share of cool perks.

Luka Donkbet (3,300.62), Carlos Villamarin (3,049.37), and 8Amir “ty4calling8” Dvir (2,972.39) who finished in third, fourth and fifth places respectively will be awarded with at least 8 tickets to the GGMasters High Roller, 50 tickets to the $150 GGMasters, and at least $10K worth of tournament dollars.

Some familiar names were also among the top finishers, including Joaquin Melogno who recently won the WSOPC Super MILLION$, Finland’s poker hero Samuel Vousden, WPT champion Javier Gomez, WSOP bracelet winner Joao Vieira, and ring holder David Yan from New Zealand.

GGMasters 2021
