Robert “bustinballs” Kuhn Takes Down Third WSOP Online Bracelet Event

The 2020 World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online Bracelet Series is providing poker players with some great real money poker action. Event number 3 was a great example of how tough the competition can be at the virtual tables.

After a grueling 12-hour battle, victory went to Ohio’s Robert “bustinballs” Kuhn who topped a massive 2,091-entry field to walk away with the largest slice of the prize pool.

Kuhn, who has over $660,000 in total live earnings, finally captured his first gold bracelet, after taking down Event #3: $400 No-Limit Hold’em. He also walked away with $115,850 as top prize.

The Barnesville native is no stranger to the WSOP. In fact, he won 19 of his career cashes at the prestigious festival, worth a total of $373,450. In 2016, he won the $1,675 Main Event held at Harrah’s Atlantic City during which he won a Circuit gold ring.

Even at the start of the Final Table, it was Kuhn who held most of the chips. “AndrewFreund“, who began as the short stack, also became the first player to leave the table, finishing ninth for $9,560. It didn’t take too long for the second elimination to occur as Roland “prngls12” Israelashvili‘s pocket tens failed to hold against Kuhn’s queens. He settled for eighth with $12,345 in earnings.

Israelashvili has yet to win a gold bracelet but he’s been showing a strong performance having cashed in all three events so far. He is currently leading the pack in terms of cashes, with a 228 lead.

“pokerher2014” didn’t stay longer in the game as he busted in seventh place for $16,184. Following his elimination, “Doc33” then went on a knockout streak, sending three players out of the game in succession. His first victim was Evan “Escott121181” Scott, followed by Max “ndirish50” Huster. Both players finished sixth and fifth, winning $21,454 and $28,605 respectively.

Doc33 then finished off “klubot” in fourth place defeating the latter’s king-jack with ace-seven. The three eliminations resulted in him grabbing the chip lead, however he failed to advance further after running queen-jack suited against Kuhn’s pocket kings. Doc33 had to settle for third with $52,242.

Kuhn entered heads-up play against Ronald “rlksaces” Keren with a massive lead. Despite his efforts, Keren would finish as runner-up, scoring $71,587.

The 2020 WSOP Online Bracelet series runs until September 6, featuring 85 online bracelet events. The action heads over to GGPoker on July 16.
