Triton Poker has just revealed its second ambassador! Accomplished high stakes poker player Tom Dwan will now represent the brand alongside fellow US pro Jason Koon.
Triton Poker is the brainchild of Malaysian businessman and poker player Richard Yong. Dwan has been supporting the brand since it started in 2015.
The Triton Poker Series has been around for just a few years but has quickly gained a reputation for being one of the biggest high stakes poker tournaments in the world and attracts the best poker players in the world.
Some of the popular winners of Triton Poker events include Justin Bonomo, Fedor Holz, Phil Ivey, Daniel Cates, Mikita Badziakouski, John Juanda, Timothy Adams, Dan Colman and Jason Koon.
Playing under the screen name “durrrr“, Tom Dwan is popular in the world of poker for turning a $50 deposit into an astonishing $2 million bankroll. Dwan has a reputation for taking part in high-stakes cash games, though he can also be seen competing at a few regular tournaments. His live tournament earnings currently stand at nearly $3.2 million based on the Hendon Mob.
Dwan, who started playing poker at a young age is a great fit for Triton Poker as he was among the first players to promote Short Deck, a poker format which has become increasingly popular among poker fans around the world. Also known as Six Plus Hold-em, the game originated in Asia and Dwan was among the first players to get in on the action.
