The biggest buy-in event in poker history is set to take place as part of the Triton Super High Roller Series London. The partypoker-sponsored tournament kicks off on July 31 and will run till August 8.
Nine days of intense high-stakes poker action will take place at the Grand Ballroom of Hilton London at Park Lane, with the main highlight being the $1,050,000 buy-in Triton Million – A Helping Hand for Charity event.
This event will go down in history as the largest buy-in in poker history, a record previously held by the €1,000,000 Big One for One Drop in Monte Carlo in 2016.
The participants for the invite-only spectacle include some of the world’s richest businessmen and philanthropists. Some of the confirmed participants include businessman and high stakes poker player Paul Phua (Malaysia), Richard Yong (Malaysia), Bobby Baldwin (USA), Rob Yong (England), Alfred DeCarolis (USA), Pat Madden (USA), Talal Shakerchi (England), Sosia Jiang (New Zealand), Chin Wei Lim (Malaysia), Liang Yu (Marshall Islands), Cary Katz (USA), Stanley Choi (Hong Kong), Leon Tsoukernik (Czech Republic), Ferdinand Putra (Indonesia), Andrew Panting (Canada), Antanas Guoga (Lithuania), and Rick Salomon (USA).
There are also a number of top high stakes poker pros taking part such as Tom Dwan, Tony G., Dan “Jungleman” Cates, Jason Koon, Bryn Kenney, Stephen Chidwick, Nick Petrangelo, David Peters, Sam Trickett, Igor Kurganov, Sam Greenwood, Christoph Vogelsang, Wai Long Chan, Mikita Badziakouski, Rui Cao, Elton Tsang, Andrew Robi, Martin Kabrhel, Tan Xuan, Justin Bonomo and German poker star Fedor Holz.
The tournament begins with the £25,000 NLH- 6 Handed – Turbo on July 31, followed by the Triton Million which runs on August 1-3.
The Triton London NLH Main Event will be a two-day action, taking place on August 4-5, with a buy-in of £100,000. The series also has something in store for the Short Deck aficionados, with the Triton London Short Deck Main Event happening on August 6-8. It also comes with a buy-in of £100,000.
Some of the other events on the schedule are the £25,000 Short Deck Ante-Only event on August 5-6, and the £50,000 Short Deck Ante-Only on August 7-8.
The series will be livestreamed, with commentary from some of poker’s most familiar voices and well-known content creators, like Nick Schulman, Randy Lew, Ali Nejad, Lex Veldhuis and Jeff Gross.
