Summary
Unibet is launching a brand-new series, the UOS Lightning Series, which kicks off on September 4 and offers more than €200,000 in guarantees.
The real money online poker room‘s latest tournament series is a smaller version of its flagship festival, the Unibet Online Series (UOS) which usually takes place four times a year.
The UOS Lightning Series will run for eight days until September 11 and features 40 events available in three buy-in tiers – Low, Mid, and High – which means players of all levels can take part in the series. They can enter for as low as €2, with the highest buy-in set at €250.
Unibet is also running plenty of satellites for the higher buy-in events, giving players the chance to win big for just a small investment. Apart from the regular guaranteed prize pools on offer, the site is also giving away €8,000 in additional prizes via mystery freerolls, leaderboards, and the UOS Lightning Mission. The mystery freerolls randomly appear on the client each day so players should stay tuned.
Unibet will run four leaderboards, one for each buy-in tier, plus it will crown an overall leaderboard winner. Points are calculated via the site’s fair for all formula that takes into account the buy-in, the number of entries, and the player’s finishing position.
To participate in the US Lightning Mission, players are required to play at least 25 events at the series. Upon completing that mission, they will be invited to an exclusive €2,000 UOS After-Party event scheduled for September 15.
Players and fans of Unibet’s HexaPro games are in for a treat as well as they can win UOS Lightning tickets between now and September 10. All they need to do is to play any of the HexaPro games. UOS tickets worth €1-€250 will be awarded via prize drops, along with freeroll tickets that players can use to enter the €500 UOS Boost flip tourneys which run daily, and the €5,000 UOS freeroll tournament.
Players on the hunt for huge value will find multiple events offering just that, including tournaments (Low) that give away between €1,000 and €2,000 in guarantees for a buy-in of only €5. Events belonging to the Mid category come with up to €10K in guarantees for buy-ins starting at €25, while guarantees for the High editions range from €4,000 to €40,000 with buy-ins set at between €50 and €250.
