Summary:
Unibet Open is returning at the end of the month with the action taking place in a familiar location for the series – no other than Bucharest.
For the fourth time in its history, Unibet Open will visit the Romanian capital for five days of top-notch poker action. The JW Marriott Bucharest Grand Hotel will be the venue of the series which runs from November 29 to December 3.
Unibet Poker is aiming to create a new record in Bucharest to mark its return to the vibrant city after five long years. The last series was held in 2018, with the Main Event won by Anton Vinokurov for €103,060 in top prize.
The Unibet Open Bucharest 2023 schedule is jam-packed with over 10 events, headlined by the €1,100 Main Event. The tournament kicks off on November 30 and features three starting flights. Surviving players meet again on Day 2 on December 2 with the action continuing through Day 3 on December 3 until a winner is crowned.
Main Event players sit down with a 30,000 starting stack played to 20-minute levels. The tournament only allows single re-entry.
Apart from the Main Event, other key events to watch out for include a €2,200 High Roller (Nov. 29-30), a €110 Ladies Event (Dec. 1), a €220 Pot Limit Omaha tournament (Dec. 2), and the €550 Unibet Chip Race Mystery Bounty (Dec. 2-3).
Unibet Poker is giving real money poker players the opportunity to win a Unibet Open Bucharest Main Event package via satellites running on the platform. The weekly qualifier costs €250 to enter but players can get in for as low as one cent via feeder satellites. The €250 qualifier runs every Sunday with five packages up for grabs. The final batch of packages will be awarded on November 19.
Each package, which is worth €2,000, covers the €1,100 Main Event buy-in, four nights’ stay at the Marriot Hotel for two, and €250 in travel expenses.
Additionally, qualifiers will be offered a complimentary dinner each night and will receive exclusive Unibet merchandise. What’s more, they get the chance to rub shoulders with Unibet ambassadors, and they will also be invited to the Welcome Drinks and Players Party.
