The Winamax Series will be back this September bringing another exciting schedule of events for French and Spanish players.

Winamax Series – Key Details and Highlights

The Winamax Series is the flagship festival of Winamax, one of the world’s largest online poker sites serving European players. The series usually takes place multiple times each year, and in 2023, it was last held in April featuring 246 tournaments and €22 million in guarantees.

The festival returns for its 37th iteration from September 3-14 with a bigger schedule of 279 tournaments. Winamax has also upped the guarantee to €23 million. Classic tournaments such as the NLHE Marathon Event, Giant KO, Colossus, Mass Start KO, Trident, Monster Stack and Million Event KO are back on the schedule with guarantees ranging from €25,000 to €3 million.

The buy-ins have also been made more affordable, with players able to enter for as low as €2. Tournaments with affordable buy-ins include the One Time KO which takes place daily throughout the festival. Fans of the Omaha variant have a new event to look forward to in the upcoming series, a €20 buy-in PLO Marathon Event taking place on September 3.

While the series is mostly geared towards the low to mid-stakes players, there is an event for high roller fans as well, the €1,000 buy-in, €1 million-guaranteed HIGHROLLER. The tournament has three starting flights taking place from September 3-4, with Day 2 and 3 scheduled for September 5 and 6 respectively.

Players must also not forget that Winamax also added some Mystery tournaments to the schedule, the biggest ones are the €5 buy-in High Five Mystery (€300,000 GTD) and the €50 buy-in Million Event Mystery with €1 million in guarantees up for grabs.

€3 MILLION KO Event

The biggest guarantee of the series is offered in the 3 MILLION Event KO. As the name suggests, players will compete for €3 million in guaranteed prize pool for a buy-in of €125. The tournament features multiple Day 1 flights running until September 13. The action plays down to a winner on September 14.

Winamax is allowing players to win their way into the series for a lower price via daily satellites running on the site.
