WPT Prime Tour Expects Thousands Of EU Poker Players In Amsterdam

A strong contingent of European poker players are expected to make their way to Amsterdam to take part in the WPT Prime stop.

The WPT Prime tour will head to Holland Casino in Amsterdam from March 24 to April 1 and give poker players some exciting action to look forward to including the highly anticipated €1,100 WPT Prime Amsterdam Main Event.

Holland Casino To Host WPT Prime Stop

Holland Casino has built a reputation over the years for hosting some of the best live poker tournaments in the Netherlands including the popular Masters Classics of Poker. Holland Casino is expecting a large turnout for the WPT Prime Amsterdam stop. WPT Prime Amsterdam features a long list of exciting events that are mostly geared towards mid-stakes and high stakes players.

Some of the exciting mid-stakes events that you need to watch out for include the NLHE Hyper Turbo event on 24, 25 and 31 March which has a €275 buy-in; and the PLO with Antes for €345 with Day 1 on March 26 and Day 2 on March 27.

High stakes players also have a lot to look forward to which includes the NLHE Opener on March 24 which has a €565 buy-in; the NLHE Bounty (€250 bounties) on March 27 which has a €840 buy-in; the PLO with Antes on 30 March which has a €1,100 buy-in; the NLHE High Roller on 31 March which has a €2,200 buy-in and ofcourse the €1,100 WPT Prime Amsterdam Main Event which starts on 28 March.

WPT Prime Amsterdam Satellite Events

Some of the buy-ins for the high stakes and Main Event will be a bit steep for a lot of poker players. WPT Prime is running satellite events at a lower buy-in that will give players a chance to qualify for the Main Event and high stakes event at a fraction of the buy-in.

Watch out for the NLHE Satellite to Main Event on 27 and 28 March that has a €165 buy-in and the NLHE Satellite to High Roller on 30 March which has a €330 buy-in.

Once the WPT Prime Amsterdam stop is finished, the WPT Prime tour will head to Bratislava, Slovakia from 11 to 15 May.
