WSOP Ontario is currently running a tournament series with GGpoker designed for low-stakes players. “mini MILLION$” will run until February 6, featuring dozens of affordable tournaments, most of which feature single-digit buy-ins.
The series aims to put the fun back into poker by giving all Canadian poker players the chance to compete for huge prizes regardless of the size of their bankroll.
mini MILLION$ Main Highlights
Players have plenty of tournaments to choose from, but the cream of the crop is the “Mystery Bounty Main Event” which comes with a $10.50 buy-in and a generous $100,000 in guaranteed prize money. On top of the regular prize pool, the tournament also offers a top bounty of up to $10,000. The final stage of the Main Event takes place on February 5, just a day before the conclusion of the series.
The “mini Ontario MILLION$” is also among the events players should be on the lookout for. With a buy-in of only $5, players will be competing for $25,000 in guarantees, with multiple starting flights available. Day 2 of the tournament is scheduled for January 22 during which a winner will be crowned.
Four “Sunday Ten Grand” events have also been spread out across the schedule, all of which feature a $25 buy-in and $10,000 in guarantees. The first one took place on the festival’s opening day, with the remaining three running on January 22 and 29, and February 5.
The ongoing mini MILLION$ Series is a great opportunity for recreational players to win big for just a tiny investment. They can enter the series for as low as $5 and take a shot at generous guarantees ranging from $500 to $2,000.
They can even qualify for some events, including the Main Event, for a much cheaper price via satellites running on WSOP Ontario.
