Zynga Poker Launches WPT Sweepstakes Promotion

Zynga Poker, the biggest free-to-play mobile poker app in the world, has launched a brand-new offering for its players and fans.

Its parent company Zynga Inc, a leading interactive entertainment firm, has teamed up with another premier brand, the World Poker Tour, to rollout the WPT Sweepstakes, which will serve as a gateway for players to take part in the popular WPT Seminole Hard Poker Showdown.

Players may earn sweepstakes entries by completing weekly challenges via the Tournament Center at Zynga Poker from February 14 to March 6.

Each player can win up to three entries, one each week. Upon the conclusion of the three-week contest, Zynga will pick 15 winners from the pool of entries via a draw.

The lucky winners will earn for themselves an all-expenses paid trip to Hollywood Florida for the WPT Seminole tournament. The package will cover the $3,500 buy-in, plus the rare opportunity to take part in an exclusive training workshop, conducted by no other than WPT champ Tony Dunst.

Announcing the WPT Sweepstakes competition, Bernard Kim, President of Publishing at Zynga, said this is the chance for Zynga players to showcase their skills at a prestigious high roller tournament. While players already have the necessary knowledge about poker, they can level up their strategy, enhance their gameplay and learn more how to deal with pressures at the live felt by attending Dunst’s workshop.

Dunst is a highly-accomplished poker pro with ten career titles and nearly $4 million in lifetime earnings under his name. The player, who also works as commentator for the WPT, said Zynga Poker provides a unique platform for aspiring players to learn the ropes and hone their skills. It allows players to connect with each other, building a strong community if poker enthusiasts.

This latest partnership with the WPT will give players the chance to experience how it feels like to compete in an elite poker environment, and Dunst is excited to impart his learnings to these budding players.
